THE TRAVELING:

Flying to the interviews will be very expensive. I think I spent over two thousand dollars in 1989 as I went around the country interviewing. You need to plan early. Reserve all of your tickets as soon as you know your interview dates. You may be able to visit multiple schools in the same area at the same time. I would not, however, recommend going to ten schools in ten days, for example. You will not be able to perform at peak performance after the fifth or sixth interview. Finally, always check the Sunday travel section of your city; many bulk ticket providers will offer tickets at prices below the lowest published fairs of the airlines.
